The Paktia University International Journal of Social Sciences (PUIJSS) operates under the academic supervision of Paktia University and is financially supported by the Ministry of Higher Education of Afghanistan. All publication costs, including editorial management, peer review, printing, and online hosting, are fully covered by Paktia University.

The journal does not charge any fees from authors for submission, review, or publication. No article processing charges (APCs) or hidden costs are imposed on researchers or contributors. This ensures free and open access to scholarly publishing and promotes equal opportunities for academic participation.
