Process of Accepting Articles

All submissions to the Paktia University International Journal of Social Sciences (PUIJSS) undergo a structured and transparent evaluation process to ensure academic quality and integrity.

Initially, each manuscript is screened by the editorial office for relevance to the journal’s scope, originality, and compliance with submission guidelines. Suitable manuscripts are then assigned to expert reviewers under a double-blind peer-review system, where both authors and reviewers remain anonymous.

Based on reviewers’ feedback, the editorial board makes one of the following decisions: accept, accept with minor revisions, revise and resubmit, or reject. Authors are informed of the decision along with detailed review comments and, when necessary, are given time to revise their manuscripts accordingly.

The final acceptance is granted only after successful revision and approval by the editorial board. All accepted articles are scheduled for publication in the appropriate issue of the journal.
