Authors who publish in the Paktia University International Journal of Social Sciences (PUIJSS) retain the copyright of their work. However, by submitting and publishing in the journal, authors grant PUIJSS the right of first publication and non-exclusive rights to disseminate the work in both print and online formats.

All articles published in the journal are licensed under an open-access policy, allowing users to read, download, copy, distribute, and share the content for non-commercial purposes, provided that proper attribution is given to the original authors and the journal.
