Aim and Scope

The Paktia University International Journal of Social Sciences (PUIJSS) aims to publish high-quality, peer-reviewed research that advances knowledge in the Social Sciences, promotes academic excellence, critical thinking, and evidence-based solutions to contemporary societal issues.

The journal covers Islamic Studies, Economics, Law and Political Science, Journalism and Mass Communication, History, Geography, Psychology, Education, and language and literature studies in Pashto, Dari, Arabic, and English. It encourages interdisciplinary research addressing social, cultural, political, economic, legal, and educational issues at local, regional, and global levels
